Q. Why are your pound cakes expensive?
A. I suppose it depends on your definition of expensive and in which part of the country you live. The majority of total cost for any cake we sell is in the ingredients, packaging and shipping charge imposed by FedEx. Its not cheap to ship great food quickly. We only make a small fraction of the amount you pay the rest is going directly to costs. This is why our competitors charge up to $20 more dollars per cake (shipped) than us right now. When you consider the work involved to make by hand, package, ship and answer questions; we offer a great value. In our case: You get what you pay for. Your reward: A superior tasting product over your local grocery store!
